The ySite is a Membership machine

Posted by Jeff Davis on Tue, Apr 05, 2016 @ 10:30 AM

Why should you read this? The average lifetime value from a single YMCA member is $4,770. Adding ten new members per month for one year means $572,400 in new revenue.

If you are a business that relies on enrolling members to provide revenue, your website had better be a Membership Machine. A Fast Track to membership.

In our last post we looked at some of the tools that come baked into a ySite.

  • The Silent Salesman
  • Automated Drip Email
  • The Scholarship Calculator

In this post we will reveiw some of the other tools available as part of the Thrive Membership Machine. In no particular order...

The Countdown Clock. You have at your fingetips a powerful tool that allows you to add immediacy to a membership offer or funding campaign. It can also signal an upcoming event like like Camp or Swimming Lessons.

The yVite. Some of your best salesmen are your current members. The yVite allows current members to refer a friend with a few simple keystrokes.

404 Error Page. Most developers don't even think of the 404 Error Page message. Normally it just says "You have reached this page in error. Good luck." At Thrive we use the rare 404 Error Page to recommend pages on the website that you might be looking for. And we throw in a little humor also.

The yBox. Essentially a pop up message baord that you control from the back office. You control the message, the frequency a visitor sees it and when they see it. Here is a link to Best Practices for the yBox.
